Why Families Choose Major Flag Football

We know families have several youth sports options. Here's what makes Major Flag Football different:

Every Player Is a Star

Every child deserves opportunities to run, catch passes, score touchdowns, and build confidence. We focus on creating an experience where every player feels involved.

No Weeknight Practices

Busy families already have enough on their schedules. Instead of requiring multiple evening practices each week, our league is designed to keep things simple while still helping kids develop skills and have fun.

Great Coaches

Our volunteer coaches care about teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, confidence, and character—not just winning games.

Fun Competition

Our divisions are designed to provide age-appropriate competition where players can improve each week while making new friends.

Family Friendly

Saturday game days become something families look forward to. Many parents tell us it's one of the highlights of their week.

Most games are held at Tanner Park and other quality athletic fields throughout the Salt Lake Valley as needed. Field assignments are announced before each season.

Are teams organized by location?

Whenever possible, we try to place players on teams that make sense geographically while also honoring friend requests and coach requests when available.

Do I need football experience?

Not at all. Many of our players are trying flag football for the very first time.

How old can my child be?

We offer divisions for multiple elementary school age groups so children can play with others of similar age and experience.
