For dates, addresses, maps, and field information:
Practices are organized by individual coaches.
Coaches determine their team's practice days, times, locations, and frequency and communicate that information directly with families.
Major Flag Football does not centrally schedule practices.
• Major Flag Football jersey
• Flags
• Team footballs
• Cleats
• Mouthguard
• Appropriate athletic clothing
• Weather-appropriate gear
Metal cleats are not allowed.
Major Flag Football allows players to request friends and teammates during registration.
Players who register using the same Team/Friend Code are grouped together when possible.
Groups may contain up to 12 players.
Team placement is subject to roster availability and league requirements.
Friend, coach, location, practice, and game-time requests cannot always be guaranteed.
Individual players may request a friend, coach, or teammate during registration.
We consider requests along with geography, school area, coach requests, roster balance, and division size when forming teams.
Friend requests are not guaranteed.
Major Flag Football teams are led by volunteer coaches.
Coaches receive team rosters, league information, rules, and equipment before the season.
Once teams are formed, coaches communicate directly with families regarding practices and other team-specific information.
Fall 2026 registration is closed.
We may still accept a limited number of players when roster space is available and the team's coach is willing to add another player.
Late registration is not guaranteed.
Because teams, schedules, and uniforms have already been finalized, requested uniform sizes may not be available and late players may need to arrange separate uniform pickup.
Games are played in most weather conditions.
Games may be delayed, changed, or canceled when:
• Fields are unsafe
• A facility closes the fields
• Weather creates unsafe playing conditions
• League officials determine games cannot safely be played
Weather-related changes will be communicated through official league communication.
Important league information is primarily communicated by email and TeamLinkt.
Please:
• Check your email regularly
• Check spam, junk, and promotions folders
• Watch for TeamLinkt notifications
• Make sure your contact information is current
Once teams are formed, contact your coach for team-specific practice and team information.
Questions about registration, schedules, refunds, uniforms, or team placement should be directed to Major Flag Football, not game officials.
Registration fees become non-refundable once teams have been formed and uniforms have been ordered because of the costs associated with team formation, scheduling, and uniforms.
Refund requests made before teams are finalized will be reviewed according to league policy.
By registering, parents and guardians agree to the Major Flag Football Waiver & Release of Liability, including assumption of risk, consent for basic medical treatment, and acknowledgment of league rules and policies.
Major Flag Football is competitive youth football, and we want kids to compete hard and enjoy playing the game.
Players, coaches, and families are expected to:
• Respect officials, opponents, teammates, and coaches
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship
• Keep sideline behavior positive
• Arrive on time and prepared
• Follow league rules
• Help create a positive environment for youth football
